Pipes, 1998, Bronze
Pretext, 1997, Snake skin, handmade paper and plywood
Albino Snake, 1997, Albino Burmese Python and aluminium pipe
A mortuary slab of glazed ceramic stood at the entrance to the show.
A projection from above covered the surface with a tidal cave, light shining through a fissure in the rock. Water dribbled through stone and sand to the drain.
A door leaned against a wall pierced by hundreds of holes.
A small dark hole was drilled in the wall beside it from which a video of a black snake appeared, moving towards the lens. Initially it seemed like the pupil of an eye but it slowly revealed itself as a snake.
A set of three bronze pipes lay on the floor as if waiting to be installed as building or plumbing conduits. On the surface of each pipe was a cast of a vagina merging with the metal.
